A name with roots in history

Our name is inspired by two Yorkshiremen who were close to our hearts. 

Walter was Matthew’s grandfather. 
Frank was Claire’s grandfather. 

Walter was a police superintendent and Frank was an engineer. Born and bred in the beautiful Yorkshire county, both men were grafters who taught us to work hard, be considerate and see the potential in the simple things around us. 

We founded WalterFrank in 2011 with the ambition to take tired old properties and sympathetically rejuvinate them into comfortable homes for a new generation. For us, history matters and it is worth preserving.  

We work hard each day in memory of our grandfathers. We hope we do them proud.
