HMO MAKEOVER

Another WalterFrank renovation project successfully completed.

Student Break Sparks Refurb

With students away for the university break, we’ve taken the opportunity to complete another targeted refurbishment project in Southampton.

Maintaining our properties to a high standard is central to our long-term investment strategy. Well-presented, well-maintained homes lead to satisfied tenants and significantly reduce disruptive maintenance issues during the academic year.

Prime Location, High Standards

We have owned this particular property for 12 years. Located just moments from the University of Southampton and within easy reach of city amenities, it has consistently let quickly each academic year.

However, we never rely solely on location to drive demand. Quality of finish and overall presentation remain equally important in attracting and retaining tenants.

Interior Upgrades

This latest refurbishment included new furniture, carpets, updated finishes, improved lighting, and upgrades to both kitchen and bathroom spaces.

The focus was on creating a fresh, comfortable environment that supports modern communal living while enhancing the property’s long-term rental appeal.

Beyond Surface Level refurb

Our refurbishment projects extend beyond aesthetics. Alongside cosmetic improvements, we addressed key maintenance areas including protecting internal chimneys, plasterwork, roof works, window checks, brick pointing, enhancements to the driveway and garden.

Protecting Long-Term Asset Value

As custodians of characterful period properties, we recognise that heritage assets require consistent care.

Proactive maintenance not only protects long-term value but ensures future generations of tenants can enjoy high-quality homes in a well-preserved setting.
